Find out about the many reasons to eat locally grown foods—starting with flavour!  Learn strategies to find BC grown bounty all year round and avoid the 1,000 mile diet. Jane Reid, author of Freshly Picked: A Locavore’s Love Affair with BC’s Bounty, passes on her passion for eating food grown close to home. One lucky attendee will win a copy of Jane's book!


Wednesday, May 8: Talking with Farmers

Find out what it is like to grow food for others as a panel of Pemberton farmers talk about what they do and why. Farmers from Laughing Crow Organics, Plenty Wild Farms and Rootdown Organic Farm come out to talk about their lives, their crops and their land in the beautiful Pemberton Valley.
