About the facilitator:

Catherine Karpman, owner of From The Garden Shed Inc., has 20+ years of horticultural experience managing garden centres & flower shops, and in 2017 moved to the Pemberton Meadows to establish a lavender farm.  Her adoration for gardening goes back to her childhood while spending her summers on her grandmother’s farm in Alberta.  A qualified Master Gardener, she loves to share her passion of environmentally friendly gardening practices, but her mission is to inspire meaningful experiences through creation of horticultural decor.  When she is not tending to her lavender farm, you will find her selling her various creations of lavender decor, wreaths, and container gardens at local farmers & craft markets, teaching workshops, or offering her design service for any empty planter that is screaming for some love.
