Adaptive Mountain Biking in the Sea to Sky

Join adaptive coach Sierra McCann and adaptive rider Aven Elsberg for a presentation on adaptive mountain biking (aMTB) in the Sea to Sky. Learn about the range of adaptive mountain bikes, the diversity of riders, and accessibility in our trail networks.

About the speakers:

Sierra McCann is an adaptive bike coach and advocate who is passionate about aMTB and creating an inclusive outdoors. Sierra is the founder of Squamish Adaptive Mountain Biking Association, a team of adaptive riders and coaches working together to reduce barriers to mountain biking and events in the Sea to Sky.

Aven Elsberg is from Anchorage, Alaska. He has lived in Whistler for three years & 9 months as a quadriplegic. Aven has been mountain biking since he was six, enjoying events like Crankworx, BC Cup Races, and Tour de Gnar. Aven loves getting out on his local trails on his Bowhead Reach.
