Bee the Change: Saving Whistler’s Bees with Iain Glass

Calling all local apiarists and bee enthusiasts! Join us for a conversation with Iain Glass, Executive Director of Ensure Hive Future, a federal not-for-profit organization that conducts apiary research and education to produce mite resistant, locally adapted honey bees. We’ll discuss the problems our bees are facing, what the science says, and what Ensure Hive Future is doing about it right here in our backyard. You’ll find out what is different about the bees living at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Four Seasons Whistler, and Nita Lake Lodge, and how you can help our pollinator friends.
