Beginner Bike Maintenance Workshop
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to take care of your bike year-round, how to get it ready for riding after the winter, and how to manage maintenance out on the trails. We’ll cover how to fix flats and change tires, and we’ll discuss what you should be able to repair or adjust yourself, and how to recognize problems that should be addressed by a bike shop. If we have time, we’ll touch on the basics of recognizing shifting issues and possible solutions.
Please note that this workshop is designed for beginners – we won’t be covering brake or suspension maintenance, or anything related to the electronics in e-bikes.
Registration is required, and space is limited! Email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca to sign up for this workshop, max two spots per person! This workshop is for adults only.
This series is presented in partnership with AWARE Whistler and the Resort Municipality of Whistler!
