EXTERNAL: Whistler Diversity Heritage – Help Us Record & Remember
Help the Whistler Multicultural Society record and remember the history and stories of diverse people in our community.
Join them on December 5 at the Whistler Museum (4333 Main Street) to learn about how diverse people have helped shape Whistler over the years and to add your own memories, stories, and anecdotes. Do you have stories of settlement, of arrival, and of the traditions and customs you and your family brought with you and celebrate now? Or, can you speak about other diverse community members who were important in the local business, civic, or social areas? Did they start or own a business? Did they hold public office?
Be part of something big – help to build recognition and celebration of how diverse people have been a key part of local history and community. Refreshments and great conversation guaranteed!
