Vision Board Workshop

Start your fall off on the right foot with our Vision Board Workshop.
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Repeats: Thursdays, September 24 and October 1
Event Details:

We're excited to be hosting our first virtual Vision Board Workshop!
In this workshop, you will use your ideas, thoughts, dreams, and wishes to create a vision board. Have fun, be creative, and claim what you want for yourself with images, words, and colour. Embrace possibility with a personal, visual reminder of your goals. Using collage, you simply see, cut, and arrange. Laugh, unwind, and have fun as you step into some ‘me’ time. There are no rules to follow and you don’t have to know what to put on your vision board ahead of time – unless you want to! No art experience is needed to create an inspiring vision board.
Because this workshop will take place virtually, we invite participants to get creative with supplies. We can provide poster boards and a limited number of magazines, but we encourage you to gather images and words leading up to the workshop.
If you would like to receive a poster board and some magazines, please email jbruce@whistlerlibrary.ca at least one week before the workshop! All participants will need their own scissors and glue or tape.
Registration is required! Email our Program Coordinator, Jeanette, at jbruce@whistlerlibrary.ca to sign up, max two spots per person. This workshop is intended for adults.
Please note that you will be signing up for two sessions: on September 24, you'll learn about the vision boarding process and begin working on your boards, and on October 1, you'll have a chance to share your finished board with the group and reflect on the process.

About the facilitator: Jill Dawson Nowack is an Expressive Arts Practitioner. Her love of the arts – movement, theatre, music, painting, poetry and narrative – combined with her love of creative learning give her workshops a sense of freedom and enjoyment that is both playful and insightful.
